About the event

Join us for a Sunday morning conversation with thangka painter Greg Smith and Michael Carroll about the Luminous Dignity Thangka. We will be gathered in the PKL shrine room, in the presence of the thangka itself, to hear Greg and Michael talk about how it came to be, what went into it, and what it means to bring a work like this into the world. Greg Smith, well-known sangha artist and thangka painter, has lived and painted for many years at Drala Mountain Center and is responsible for much of the painting in the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya. This gathering is live on Zoom. Join us Sunday, July 19 at 9:30am Eastern.
